If God truly cares about the very details of our lives than if we seek him during the smaller stuff ( I wonder which lawn service I should use?) we can use these smaller events to practice hearing God’s voice and knowing what it “sounds” like. Then, when a bigger even comes it is not the first time we have prayed, fasted, or waited for God’s direction. You don’t just show up at a marathon, you practice shorter distances first. I think it is the same sometimes in the Christian walk we show up in the middle of this huge drama and have no idea what we are doing/listening for because it was really the first time we have sought God&amp;#39;s council.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/222336723191018839/7436023369345394767/comments/default/3247841463582905824'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/222336723191018839/7436023369345394767/comments/default/3247841463582905824'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.assyrianhorn.com/2009/06/why-cant-i-hear-gods-voice.html?showComment=1245870908530#c3247841463582905824' title=''/><author><name>Anonymous</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.assyrianhorn.com/2009/06/why-cant-i-hear-gods-voice.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-222336723191018839.post-7436023369345394767' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/222336723191018839/posts/default/7436023369345394767' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1450408309'/></entry></feed>
